BARC Solutions is a global consultancy specializing in security risk management, technology design, and operational resilience. They provide strategic security consulting and design services to create secure and efficient environments, primarily within the UAE and surrounding region.

 

They approached us to concept and design a digital solution that guides and automates the security inspection, risk assessment and reporting processes, and manages further usecases such as security design consulting, resource planning and procurement.

A key challenge was how to manage the build and usage of a wide complexity of features.  We ran a series of strategy workshops and agreed a modular approach to the delivering the offering, with different features delivered as apps within a security suite.

 

I led the service design and stakeholder journey mapping, and then created a series of options for the information architecture and wireframes for key experiences.  From here we created a design prototype which was tested with relevant stakeholders within the organisation.

 

I then designed the remaining wireframes and led the design and branding with my team at Makette.

The proposition is still in development, but is progressing well.
